Valentina Flores reportedly encountered a small, covered figure at Otoco, near Uyuni, Bolivia, in 1968. The December label in the imported record is not securely supported: Oscar Galindez’s 1970 Flying Saucer Review article came from an undated newspaper clipping, while later catalogues variously give March 10, May 14 or simply early 1968. A year-only illustration title preserves that uncertainty. Flores said she was bringing in sheep and llamas when she found a plastic-like net over the sheep enclosure and a short figure using a hooked tubular instrument on the animals. The being reportedly wore a dark one-piece covering, a helmet-like head covering and backpack equipment. She confronted it with stones and a stick; the account describes a returning thrown implement, superficial wounds and a device that gathered up the net before the figure rose noisily into the air. Thirty-four dead sheep were claimed, but the accessible reporting chain does not provide a verifiable veterinary assessment establishing an extraordinary cause. No separate spacecraft was seen, and no human was described as taken aboard one. The plate presents a non-graphic confrontation with the helmeted figure and its equipment; it follows the published humanlike sketch rather than standard grey-alien anatomy.
