Case description
Station manager Kjell Näslund said he was working alone on Hemliden on March 12, 1969, when equipment alarms began around 6 p.m. About half an hour later, he felt compelled to go outside. He reportedly found an enormous, low object with indistinct edges close to the station, estimating it at roughly 150 metres across and five or six metres high.
A tunnel-like opening emitted gray-blue light. Around ten cloudlike boxes, about 1.35 metres tall and lacking firm edges, floated near or within it. Six or seven reportedly passed Näslund and entered the building slowly. He felt unable to move or telephone the police, although he sensed that the visitors were not dangerous. He inferred living beings inside the forms; he did not describe visible faces, heads or limbs.
Minutes later, the boxes returned and were drawn into the tunnel, which closed before the object departed north. Näslund then said he could move and contacted policeman Hans Häggblad. The Nordic UFO Newsletter account preserves this sequence. It describes an alleged station inspection, not a medical procedure, despite the imported procedure/instrument tags. The plate therefore reconstructs cloudlike box forms and the large craft without manufacturing conventional aliens or invasive activity.
