Case description
In the summer of 1969, a group of young people reportedly gathered near a reservoir north of Trois-Rivières. When their old car would not start, several friends left to seek help, leaving three boys, aged roughly twelve to sixteen, with the vehicle around nine in the evening. They noticed a powerful light near fir trees and the water; fuller versions describe part of a dark disc with a cupola hovering beyond the trees.
Seven or eight luminous white forms then allegedly approached, floating about a foot above the ground. These were described as tall, broad, snowman-like bodies with a darker oval where a face should be, without visible arms, legs, eyes or mouths. The boys locked themselves inside and hid beneath a blanket. They reported heat, shaking, pressure or footsteps on the roof, and subsequent marks on the metal.
In the longer narrative, the arrival of their friends’ headlights ended the episode and the figures returned toward the light. The account appeared in UFO-Québec in 1975, several years after the supposed event; precise dating, which witnesses were interviewed, and the nature of the roof marks remain uncertain. The description does not support the imported suggestion of small, conventional gray aliens.
