Case description
A person identified only as Tom reportedly experienced an interruption of awareness north of Baltimore, Maryland, during April 1970. The Hatch catalogue gives approximately 6:50 p.m. and describes more than an hour apparently passing while he was in the middle of a conversation.
The account says the surroundings became dark and that the other people present did not appear to notice a comparable interruption. It does not preserve their statements, explain how the time was checked, or describe what Tom remembered during the interval. The bibliography points to Michael Lindemann's UFOs and the Alien Presence, a collection of differing perspectives on encounter reports.
Although the digest calls Tom an abductee, that background label supplies no observed transport in this episode. The available sequence contains no defined craft, entity, or onboard examination. The illustration is therefore contextual rather than a depiction of a documented removal, and the reported lapse remains distinct from any explanation proposed for it.
