Case description
At approximately 1 a.m. on August 16, 1970, a twenty-two-year-old domestic employee identified as C. R. was watching television at a property in Puente de Herrera, Valladolid. An intense whistling sound accompanied interference in the picture. After failing to restore reception, she switched the television off and went to the garden door.
She reported a silvery, Saturn-shaped object roughly thirty metres away. It stood on supports beneath a clear dome, with a rotating blue-white light above and coloured lights around the rim. A manlike figure about 1.8 metres tall stood nearby, looking toward an alfalfa field. He wore dark, close-fitting clothing and a matching cap or hood, with bright white bands at his wrists and ankles and a large square buckle.
The figure turned and approached the object in long strides. Frightened, C. R. went back inside and did not actually see him enter. The account was investigated by the Charles Fort group and discussed in Stendek and Ballester Olmos’s landing study. Those sources place the event in Valladolid; the imported Valencian region label is inconsistent. The electrical interference remains a reported association, without an established technical cause.
