Case description
On July 7, 1971, around 6 p.m., physicians Guillermo Argüello de la Motta and Antonio Arocha reportedly observed two men near San Juan de los Morros, Venezuela. In the later HUMCAT/Rosales summary, the men left a car about 500 yards from the house, wearing black suits, red ties and black berets. They then fastened orange belts around their waists.
A brilliant, circular, bell-shaped object was said to descend until it hovered roughly two feet above the ground. The account estimates its diameter at about 90 feet and describes changes from orange through blue to white. A small stairway extended, the two men boarded, and the object departed rapidly. The men were described as human-looking; the account supplies no unusual anatomy.
The contemporary APRO Bulletin mentions a red Mustang and metallic discs on the belts, but labels the location Caracas. Other retellings give a smaller craft diameter. These are source variations, not additional observations to combine without qualification. Rosales cites FSR Case Histories no. 10. The plate follows the San Juan de los Morros version, preserving the distinctive suits, red ties, berets, belts and boarding sequence rather than substituting generic alien figures.
