Case description
A businessman identified as G. G. reported another sighting near Chauchina late on 18 September 1971. Ballester Olmos's fuller catalogue gives approximately 23:45. Returning toward his village, he saw a circular, densely yellow light about two hundred metres away. Its edges appeared clear, without a halo, and it did not illuminate the surrounding ground.
The object seemed smaller than a tractor wheel and roughly two to five metres above the ground. G. G. left his vehicle and watched it for about half a minute. He then went home and returned with his brother. Along the road they thought they saw two figures signalling with torches, but when they reached the spot nothing and nobody remained.
Manuel Osuna is identified as the original source, with LDLN coverage in March 1972. The imported abstract instead describes a 1.5-metre saucer at six metres altitude and can misleadingly suggest that two occupants signalled from it. The fuller sequence places the figures during the return journey; it does not say they emerged from the light or were inside it. No anatomy or unusual costume is described. The plate explicitly labels its joined observations and uses ordinary indistinct torch-bearing figures. The earlier encounter mentioned in the source is separate from this September episode.
