St. Catharines, On abduction report — October 16, 1971

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on October 16, 1971, members of a rock group travelling in a van near St. Catharines, Ontario, reportedly experienced an encounter with small humanoid occupants of a craft. They subsequently described it as an abduction. One member of the group said the episode was not his first such experience and traced earlier incidents back to about the age of two. Those earlier experiences are a separate part of his personal history, without specific dates or sequences in the available account. The musicians are not named, and the reported period aboard the object and their return are not described in detail. The van encounter and the one participant's claimed earlier experiences are the surviving elements of the story.
