30km / Ljubljana, Yugo being encounter — October 7, 1972

APRO’s March–April1973 bulletin published Miloš Krmelj’s report of an unnamed sixty-year-old innkeeper, MrsH, who saw two figures near a village roughly thirty kilometres from Ljubljana. She was cycling home from the hairdresser around9a.m. on October7,1972. The original account establishes two figures, rather than the three found in some later retellings. From no closer than about150metres, she described small people in ground-length white gowns, black belts below the chest and round black caps. Their faces looked dark but had no resolved features. One seemed a head taller; they walked with shoulders touching. She dismounted to watch and briefly followed their route, then went home because she worried the family inn had not opened. No craft appeared in her observation. The article separately discusses children’s reports involving hooded figures and an apparent Fiat750. Those evening scenes, clothing differences and vehicle claims should not be added to the innkeeper’s morning encounter. Distance limits any inference about nonhuman anatomy, and no physical corroboration was recovered. The plate shows her bicycle and the two distant robed figures, keeping appearances and scenery illustrative. It preserves the original account’s modest details without turning the separate car into an alien spacecraft.
