Tres Arroyos, Arg being encounter — November 1972

A fuller account identifies Alfonso Rey as the witness to this Tres Arroyos encounter and dates it to November 28, 1972, around 12:30 a.m. Rey was watching television when the picture stopped. As he rose to adjust the set, he reportedly noticed a stranger sitting in an armchair at the other end of the room. The visitor stood at least six and a half feet tall. He wore metallic-looking blue-green coveralls, a black belt carrying a small device, an old-fashioned aviator-style helmet and short boots. Rey said the stranger’s offered hand felt unusually cold and soft, and his eyes appeared to reflect silvery light. Rey subsequently felt an unusual sense of well-being. The visitor followed him into the kitchen, declined water and operated buttons on the belt device, producing an amber light. He then went into the yard and reportedly vanished. A later report of a similar stranger in a local bar is a separate alleged observation. No craft or journey aboard one is described.
