Kauhajoki, Finl being encounter — December 22, 1972

A Finnish roadside report was published in the January–February 1973 APRO Bulletin under Kauhajuki, dated December 22,1972. It names Veikko Kivioja and Seppo Oja and gives an observation between 2 and 2:30 a.m. Later Finnish compilations place a closely matching story with the same men at Lauhala, Honkajoki, on December 14, so the date and locality conflict should remain visible. The original APRO summary describes three bright, tall, slender figures walking single file beside the road. Their upper bodies seemed angular or fin-like, and the light associated with them curved upward. The men reported no sound and found no footprints. Another man allegedly saw what seemed the same three figures a few hours later elsewhere; that association was an interpretation rather than a demonstrated identification. A separate later Kauhajoki digest describes one glowing figure and bending car headlights. It should not silently replace the three-figure primary passage. No spacecraft appears in the retrieved APRO account. The plate follows that passage with two representative motorists and three indistinct luminous figures, captioned December 1972 without asserting a resolved location or day. No faces or winged biological species are established.
