Case description
Three teenagers near Anthony Hill, outside Pulaski in Giles County, Tennessee, reportedly saw an unusual object and a large creature during a thunderstorm on October 1, 1973. Fuller catalogues give approximately 8:15 p.m. and identify one witness as Becky Martin, accompanied by her sister and another young person. The exact viewing position is not established in the brief surviving summaries.
They first described an egg-shaped object with a brilliant white light on its upper section. It moved over nearby treetops and disappeared behind them. The youngsters then saw a large, hairy figure with a round head and raised arms. Its slow rocking or mechanical gait led to the repeated comparison with a robot. That wording does not establish a metallic body or machinery, and no boarding or exit from the object is described.
David Webb’s 1973 humanoid study cites Darbro and Ingram and the Pulaski Citizen of October 3. Other catalogues mention imprints found afterward, but the accessible descriptions do not supply a secure footprint measurement or demonstration that the marks came from the figure. Nearby object reports belong to the broader context rather than proving the creature’s origin. The plate explicitly combines the sequential object and figure observations for clarity, keeping the teenagers safely distant and the poorly described anatomy indistinct.
