Case description
On November 2, 1973, Lyndia Morel was driving near Manchester and Pinardville, New Hampshire, when she reported a brilliant, spherical object following her car. She described a patterned or honeycomb-like surface and a frightening sense that the object was influencing her ability to continue along the road normally.
The encounter became more than a distant observation. Morel described a period for which she could not account and an apparent communication or contact connected with the light. The surviving catalogue summary refers to several additional observers, but does not identify them or establish that each witnessed every part of her experience.
Her next clear point of refuge was a stranger's house in the early morning, around 4:30 a.m. The report entered APRO's files and later case discussions associated with Walter Webb and Betty Hill. The reported route involved Mast Road and the Pinardville area of Manchester.
