Case description
A woman driving home between Winnfield and Sikes, Louisiana, reported seeing a small figure beside Beech Creek Bridge on the foggy evening of November7,1973. David Webb’s 1976 second edition of 1973:Year of the Humanoids preserves the incident as report44 and cites the Winn Parish Enterprise of November14,1973. Her name is absent from the recovered summary. The catalogue gives approximately8 p.m.
Webb describes a roughly three-foot figure with a large oval head, deep-red eyes that appeared capable of retracting, and a silvery body. Its arms seemed divided below the elbow. That uncertain description should not be expanded into additional upper arms or detailed machinery. The source explicitly states that no UFO was seen. It supplies no securely recovered speech, capture, examination or interaction inside a craft.
The report reached the catalogue through a newspaper item rather than a recovered first-person investigative transcript. Fog, brief viewing and the absence of independent physical evidence limit what can be established from it. The plate keeps the woman in her approaching car and the whole small figure beside the bridge. Their appearances and road layout are illustrative, while the silver colour, head and red eyes follow the published description. No spacecraft has been added.
