Case description
Ann Dolphijn, a fifty-five-year-old resident of Uden, said she noticed three small figures outside her home during an early-morning bathroom visit in November 1973. A later investigation places the episode around November 10 at approximately 2:15–2:25 a.m.; David Webb’s first listing used October. The month conflict should remain visible.
From behind the window she watched figures in white, ankle-length robes with attached hoods concealing their faces. Their large shoes and stiff, shuffling movement attracted her attention. Two were less than a metre tall, while the one behind seemed slightly taller. One moved an implement over the pavement, resembling a roller sweeper or metal detector. Its purpose was not established.
After several minutes, a figure apparently noticed her. The group retreated rapidly and disappeared behind a school. From another window she then saw a brilliant red sphere approximately two to two-and-a-half metres across, hovering near the pavement. It vanished while she turned to check the time; she did not witness boarding.
Dolphijn reported the experience to police. The account later reached CUFOS and was investigated by Douwe Bosga in 1978. The sequence supports two associated observations, with no visible facial anatomy or confirmed sample collection.
