Case description
Unable to sleep at about 2 a.m. on November 22, 1973, a Joliette woman identified as Mrs J. P. reportedly went into her kitchen. Light from outside already illuminated the room. A white form attracted her attention near a low window, and she approached for a closer look.
She described a figure about four feet tall, roughly nine feet outside, with a round head, exceptionally large bright eyes and a luminous halo. No nose, mouth or distinct neck was noticed, and its shoulders sloped steeply down from the head. Rather than fleeing immediately, she reportedly felt captivated. After around fifteen seconds, the figure withdrew. Her husband subsequently searched outside without seeing it, although the family dog appeared frightened. The following night their cat behaved unusually near the same window.
David Webb's survey cites a first-hand investigation and Skylook 77; later Canadian compilations preserve the expanded domestic sequence. Nearby quarry-light reports involved other witnesses and should not be converted into a spacecraft observed at this window. Neither the short encounter nor the later animal behavior establishes an abduction or measured missing-time interval. The plate follows the luminous-eye and halo description, shows no craft, and leaves unsupported clothing and bodily details explicitly interpretive.
