Gerena, Sp being encounter — March 19, 1974

The native entry dates a close window observation at Gerena, Seville, to March 19, 1974, at about 11:30 p.m. It describes a small disc hovering roughly one metre above a patio and only four metres from the observer. A similar March account names Antonia Díaz Ramos and her husband Manuel Valderas Fuentes, but gives March 14. The object was approximately two metres long and one metre wide, with strongly red edges and a pale translucent centre. Two dark forms were visible inside; Hatch calls them helmeted heads. The object subsequently moved and rose away. The basic account does not resolve the faces or describe any figure leaving the craft. The single-window-witness version and the couple’s observation are not identical in their witness detail. A closely resembling account attributed to Antonia also appears under November 26, with an uncertain year sometimes assigned as 1976. It includes a kitchen window, harsh sound and helmetlike shapes, while her husband arrived too late to see the object. These repetitions may reflect related reports or transmission differences; they should not be silently combined into one certain chronology. The Atlas retains its native date, and the plate explicitly follows that version while marking the disagreement.
