St. Cyrille, Qb being encounter — June 25, 1974

Skylook’s November 1974 report describes a prolonged incident outside the mobile home of a twenty-six-year-old couple at Saint-Cyrille-de-Wendover. Around 1:15 a.m. on June 25, the husband heard repeated thumps and saw an intensely luminous reddish-orange object hovering over a nearby field. Moving to wake his wife, he heard buzzing and noticed a metallic-looking figure about fifteen feet from the bedroom window. The figure was approximately six feet tall, moved stiffly and had glowing red horizontal bars across its upper body. The witness could not recall its head. It appeared to inspect a prefabricated shed. The couple then watched three similar forms examining the wheel assembly of an unoccupied mobile home. During intermittent observations over three hours, they reported as many as fifteen standing in line beside a creek, then moving together. Investigators Jean Roy, Philippe Blaquière, Marc Leduc and Wido Hoville interviewed the couple and photographed three grass circles, each about seventeen feet across. Their outer rings were flattened, with undisturbed grass inside and no burning. A reported white residue was awaiting analysis in the initial article. The term robots described appearance and movement, not a demonstrated mechanical construction; the witnesses did not supply detailed faces or an identifiable origin.
