Case description
A retired couple at Feignies, Nord, reportedly watched an unusual aerial scene for about an hour on August 26,1974. A reproduced account attributed to Jean-Marie Bigorne’s LDLN 151 investigation identifies Mr.Moret,63, and his wife,57. He had stepped outside while concerned that their daughter had not yet returned from local festivities.
The couple described a black circular shape against a grey evening sky, edged by a faint white glow. It slowly descended, then separated vertically into two semicircular halves. One half diminished and disappeared southeastward. Within the remaining half, a curtain-like change reportedly revealed two metallic grey-white suited forms, their heads recessed in large helmet-like coverings, moving back and forth with mechanical-looking gestures.
The witnesses eventually resumed looking for their daughter and did not establish how the phenomenon ended. No landing, conversation, injury or measured electrical disturbance is documented. The movement comparison does not prove the figures were robots. The imported FSRvolume 20 number 1 reference cannot independently establish a later August event. The plate shows the couple, two helmeted forms within one dark half and a smaller departing half as an explicit sequence composite; the light boundary is not treated as a proven portal.
