Case description
The fuller account places this incident in the Dakar region of Senegal at about 8:20 p.m. on October 21, 1974. A man identified as Felice Ravolo and his wife reportedly watched three objects descend over woods beyond their backyard. The source calls him a commissioner for internal affairs, but that official identity has not been independently established in the accessible material.
One object, described as conical and as large as an aircraft, descended close to the property with a dark opening visible at one end. A figure appeared beyond the picket fence. Unlike the small humanoid in the compressed ledger, the fuller description is tall, unusually thin and covered in short, stiff, wirelike hair. It allegedly loped toward the man, then turned after a warning shot and bounded back toward the descending object, which seemed to absorb it.
The object reportedly accelerated away, and damaged branches and trampled vegetation were subsequently claimed. INTCAT traces the account through Ted Bloecher and Ted Phillips's 1975 symposium papers to Ronald Drucker's magazine report and an investigation attributed to Richard Egan. That remains a source chain rather than independently verified official evidence. The plate combines the reported approach and craft phases without depicting gunfire.
