El Fundo, Dom.rep being encounter — August 14, 1976

A fuller catalogue places this El Fundo, Baní, Dominican Republic, account at about 5 p.m. on 14 August 1976. Two boys were playing with their dog near a rural ranch when the animal began barking intensely. From behind a nearby shack, they reportedly saw an unusual figure walking rapidly away. Its rigid motion gave them the impression of a robot, rather than establishing a mechanical body. The figure was estimated at five feet six inches tall. It wore a close-fitting red top, black trousers and a broad white collar that appeared to restrict its head movement. Its exposed arms were described as green and scaly, its mouth ordinary, and its hair frizzy and blond. The boys did not see its eyes or nose. It kept its arms straight beside its body and never turned its head. The children retreated behind a wire fence and hedge. One then heard a noise behind him and saw a black sphere, approximately three feet across, roll quickly into the brush. The figure also disappeared into vegetation. The dog reportedly remained nervous and exhausted without approaching it. Rosales attributes the account to Robiou Lamarche’s regional collection. No flying vehicle, boarding sequence or demonstrated connection between the figure and sphere is preserved.
