An elderly witness reportedly watched a brilliant circular object near houses in Santo Domingo on August 15, 1976. The short Hatch entry places it hovering over a yard at approximately 1 p.m. A later humanoid compilation instead describes an evening observation, with the object descending above rooftops and coming down onto a road. Both versions preserve the same central action: a humanlike figure appeared briefly outside the object and immediately went back inside. The object then departed at high speed. The expanded summary says no sound was heard. The figure’s brief appearance does not come with a dependable description of height, face, skin or clothing, and the surviving text does not record any conversation or approach to the witness.
