Case description
A man walking his dog in a Toronto park reportedly experienced an unusual light and image display at about 10 p.m. on October 29. Hatch places the event in 1976, whereas the Musgrave-derived accounts consistently give 1973. That three-year conflict is retained rather than silently changing the Atlas’s native date.
In the wall-screen version, a fluorescent blue-green circle appeared on a brick wall. Within it the witness saw a television-like display containing moving images, including figures he interpreted as extraterrestrial. He believed communication occurred through those images, became physically unwell, and described his dog as extremely frightened. Rosales’s variant instead begins with light descending and enveloping him before the screen appeared. Neither version gives a usable description of the figures’ anatomy, their clothing, or the content of the exchange.
The published trail leads through John Musgrave’s UFO Occupants and Critters: The Patterns in Canada, which credits an investigation by Henry McKay, and later summaries by Bartholomew and Howard and by Rosales. The underlying investigation is not reproduced in the accessible dossier. The entities belong to reported screen imagery, not clearly to physical figures in the park, and no definite spacecraft is described.
