Security guard Julien Hermann described seeing a luminous human form outside the Merlin-Gérin factory at Meylan in 1976. The imported catalogue dates it December 12 at 7:20 a.m.; an Ouranos account reproduced in the source dossier instead gives September 12 after he began duty around 6 a.m. The plate uses the year because that conflict is unresolved.
From his office window, Hermann said he saw a figure of ordinary human height about twenty metres away. Green points outlined its fluorescent body, with the arms held down and an indistinct helmet-like halo near the head. An orange-yellow luminous circle lay beneath it. He could not distinguish its face, clothing or whether it faced him. His radio reportedly crackled as he felt a cold sweat and rushed outside.
The figure was still there when he rounded the building, then disappeared abruptly. Retellings differ about paralysis and traces: one describes momentary neck stiffness and no marks, while the terse imported entry includes burnt ground. These should not be combined into a verified physical-trace finding. No craft was described. The reconstruction therefore shows the guard, ambiguous green figure and luminous circle without an invented spacecraft.
Film says September12,1978. The source-reviewed Atlas gives1976, with December12 imported versus September12 Ouranos versions. Timestamp matches the unique narrative; do not replace the source date/year. No craft described.
