Southwest / Valencia, Sp landing encounter — February 22, 1977

Five people travelling in a car southwest of Valencia, Spain, reported a prolonged encounter on February 22, 1977. A saucer-shaped object accompanied or paced the vehicle for about an hour. During the episode, the car experienced interference, and a separate radio was also reportedly affected. The witnesses described the object extending legs or landing supports. The surviving summary does not make clear whether it finally touched the ground or remained above the road. It supplies no description of occupants leaving the object or of any direct spoken exchange. The episode is preserved as an extended vehicle encounter with mechanical and radio effects and an apparent preparation for landing. Later catalogue wording raises the question of an attempted taking, but the retained sequence does not describe anyone boarding or being carried away. The five travellers’ observation, the hour-long accompaniment and the object’s lowered supports remain the specific reported developments.
