This Milford Haven-area entry belongs to the Coombs family’s reports at Ripperston Farm near Saint Brides, rather than Cyril John’s separate April 7 sighting. In spring 1977, Pauline Coombs described a silver-clad figure at a cottage window, estimated at seven to eight feet tall and unusually broad. Its face appeared black and featureless. A son reportedly noticed it too, and the figure vanished when another vehicle approached.
The same reporting chain included an earlier car journey during which a yellow, football-sized light allegedly followed Coombs and her children above the hedges. Later testimony adds fading headlights and engine power near the farm. These are different episodes: the window figure was not demonstrably seen operating the small luminous object. The image combines them explicitly as an interpretive scene, with the family safely inside.
The imported April 26 date coincides with a Guardian press report; other retellings place the window incident on April 23 or 24. Contemporary BUFORA and International UFO Reporter summaries preserve parts of the account. Later disclosures that a local man wore a silver protective suit complicate regional figure reports, but do not by themselves establish the identity of this particular visitor. The unresolved features and chronology should remain visible rather than becoming a detailed alien anatomy.
