Coeur D / Alene, ID abduction report — June 20, 1977

A woman using the pseudonym Rachel Jones reported an intrusion at her apartment in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, shortly before midnight on June 20, 1977. She heard someone approaching and then found herself unable to move or speak. A humanlike figure in a bluish garment appeared, and she felt herself being lifted before her memory broke off. She next remembered being awake in bed roughly two hours later. A headache followed, and she subsequently noticed a small healed mark near her left shoulder. Researcher Leo Sprinkle examined the mark and spoke with her about the experience. During efforts to recall the missing interval, she repeatedly indicated that she remembered something but could not describe it. The short published account associates the experience with an operation and perceived mental communication.
