At about 8:30 p.m. on July 12, 1977, Adrián de Olmos Ordóñez watched a small figure from his Quebradillas balcony. The forty-two-year-old cattle-feed merchant said it passed beneath a fence and approached a streetlamp across the road. He estimated its height at roughly one meter and called his daughter Irasema for drawing materials.
The visitor wore a puffy green one-piece garment, a pointed metallic helmet with a luminous antenna tip, and a boxlike backpack. A visor concealed facial details. De Olmos described four fingers, ducklike feet and a short tail, with a small shiny object in one hand. These particulars distinguish the account from generic descriptions of a grey alien.
When a terrace light came on, the figure reportedly retreated toward the fence and moved its hands to its belt. Its backpack lit up, a drilling-like sound followed, and it rose into the air. No separate craft was described. Family members subsequently watched lights moving among nearby trees; those observations did not all include a close view of the figure.
Investigator Sebastián Robiou Lamarche documented the story for Flying Saucer Review and later MUFON coverage. Claimed tracks were examined afterward, but no photograph of the visitor established its identity.
Atlas gives about8:30pm while film rounds to9pm. Family and neighbors' later lights are distinct from Adrián's close figure observation; no separate craft is described for that phase.
