Fontanigorda, ITL being encounter — August 26, 1977

In the early hours of 26 August 1977, an unnamed Fontanigorda resident reportedly had difficulty sleeping and noticed a brilliant white light through partly open blinds. The fuller catalogue account places the beginning around 4:15 a.m., while the imported Hatch record gives 4:20. The light approached to within a few metres and stopped; no clearly described mechanical hull appears in the consulted narrative. Two figures with gold-colored faces became visible against the light. It shifted toward the curtains, and one figure approached or entered through them. Its head was oval, with an inverted triangular light in the upper face. The witness shouted, after which the figure withdrew. A faintly luminous hand impression was allegedly left on the curtain, and further footsteps were heard before the lights and figures disappeared. Maurizio Verga's ITACAT is the cited source, and later summaries mention unspecified ground traces. Neither measurements nor laboratory analysis of the curtain or ground marks are supplied in the accessible account. Its bedroom setting and anonymous witness also limit independent assessment. The generic 'Grey' wording in the imported classification should not overwrite the actual gold-faced, triangular-light description. The plate retains the witness, two visible figures and unresolved light without inventing a saucer or showing the additional footsteps as confirmed occupants.
