He was travelling by car when an unusually tall figure crossed the road in front of him. Its covering appeared metallic, and the witness compared its appearance with a robot. That comparison describes an impression, not a demonstrated mechanical construction. Several much shorter, humanlike figures followed close behind the tall one. They were described simply as dwarf-sized. The driver stopped, and the group disappeared from his view. Soon afterward, he reportedly saw a luminous disc rise from a nearby field.
