Case description
This entry concerns a claimed warning in Betty Andreasson’s later experiences, rather than her better-known January 1967 abduction account. The imported ledger assigns it to around midnight on October 20, 1977, in South Ashburnham. Raymond Fowler’s subsequent narrative describes an unsettling telephone conversation with Bob Luca on October 19, followed by reported lights and noises in the house that night.
The crucial warning was reconstructed retrospectively. In the published hypnosis account, Andreasson described a being beside her bed telling her that something distressing would happen, that it could not intervene, and that her faith would help her endure it. Fowler connected that episode with the automobile accident in which two of her sons subsequently died. Later retellings differ over whether the warning preceded the deaths by two or three days and how explicitly it identified them.
The distinction between a remembered premonition and details elicited later under hypnosis is essential. A real family tragedy does not independently verify an alien prediction, and the quoted warning was not preserved as a clear advance forecast in the material consulted. No spacecraft or detailed anatomy for the bedside visitor is supplied for this particular episode. The plate is therefore labeled as a hypnotic recollection and uses restrained room-and-light context rather than borrowing the 1967 craft.
