An unnamed man in Gómez Palacio, Durango, reportedly encountered a glowing visitor late on 2 January 1978. He was sitting in his front room reading when he looked up and noticed a tall blond, blue-eyed man already in the room. He asked the stranger’s identity and purpose but received no reply. The visitor allegedly turned without touching the floor, surrounded by a glow, then floated through the doorways of two rooms toward the rear patio. The witness followed. Once outside, the luminosity intensified and the figure rose into the air and passed from sight. The account does not describe a vehicle, wings, an arrival sequence, physical contact or a message. Floating through doorways does not mean that the source said he passed through solid closed doors. The September 1978 APRO Bulletin printed the story as a possibly UFO-related occurrence, related through a newspaper editor whose relative was the witness.
