Case description
At about 10 p.m. in February 1978, a young male student was walking in Scarborough, Ontario, when he heard a sharp, wavering sound compared with a siren. Looking up, he reportedly saw a saucer-shaped object hovering close to the ground. Its dome included a transparent section through which several moving figures could be seen.
The surviving account concentrates on the sound, low position and transparent dome. It does not provide a reliable number of occupants, their height, faces, clothing or activities beyond movement inside. It also supplies no developed sequence of a landing, conversation, boarding or departure. Calling the occupants extraterrestrial would therefore go beyond what the witness’s brief description establishes.
John Brent Musgrave’s 1979 compilation UFO Occupants and Critters is the cited historical source. Later catalogs sometimes assign 4 February, but the Atlas ledger preserves only the month, and the accessible account does not resolve the discrepancy. The witness is unnamed and his precise age and observation site are missing. The plate consequently retains indistinct figures and an illustrative suburban setting rather than presenting invented anatomical or geographic details as testimony.
