Before dawn on February 5, 1978, a hunter known publicly as Julio F. was driving in the Medinaceli area of Soria, Spain, with his dog Mus. His later account began with an unusual voice or impulse to change his route, followed by a light near the road and trouble while driving. Julio described an encounter with a figure whose appearance reminded him of a clown. His account included being taken into an unfamiliar setting and a blood sample being taken from his dog. The circumstances were subsequently discussed in Spanish UFO literature and radio investigations.
