Pelotas, Brz abduction report — March 3, 1978

At about 11 p.m. on March 3, 1978, a man at Pelotas in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, reported being struck or enveloped by a blue beam. Later case presentations identify the participant as José Inácio Álvaro, also rendered Álvares in some programme titles. The beam was associated with the beginning of a taking experience. His account continued with a human-appearing occupant and sexual contact. He also described communication understood as telepathic and the presentation of violent images. The short historical summary does not preserve the images in detail or give a continuous itinerary through the object. Two other observers were associated with a separate sighting of a saucer. Their observation forms part of the surrounding report, while the interior and communication sequence comes from the central participant’s account.
