Izmajlovo Park East / Moscow being encounter — November 16, 1979

A short retrospective account places a luminous object in Izmailovo Park, east of central Moscow, around 8 p.m. on November 16, 1979. Several people reportedly saw a brilliant circular object rise from behind trees. A peculiar area of melted snow was later attributed to its presence. The Atlas summarizes this as a landing, although the accessible expanded account begins with its ascent. One woman was said to have been closer than the other observers. She allegedly saw a short being emerge briefly from the object. The only specific anatomical details preserved are large round eyes and hands with four fingers. When she screamed, the figure reportedly jumped back into the object. The account does not establish its clothing, skin color, exact height, speech or interaction with the other witnesses. The cited publication is the National Enquirer UFO Report, subsequently condensed into humanoid catalogues. No named witness interview, original Soviet record, photograph or independent snow examination was located. Those limitations make it inappropriate to add a detailed spacecraft design or a familiar grey-alien appearance. A patch of melted snow alone would also not demonstrate its cause. The plate labels its scene contextual, uses a strongly glowing circular form and partly obscured figure, and treats the observers’ appearance and park arrangement as illustrative rather than documented.
