Case description
The Lanxi report concerns truck drivers Wang Dingyuan and Wang Jianming on the Lanxi–Xin'anjiang road near Longwangmiao, Zhejiang. The detailed retelling dates it to about 4 a.m. on December 13, 1979, while the imported catalogue gives 3 a.m. Dingyuan, initially leading, reportedly saw a powerful beam and two small humanoid figures in the roadway. Both trucks stopped and the display vanished.
After discussing what they had seen, the drivers changed positions and continued. Jianming then reported a second appearance. He described figures about 1.5 metres tall in space-like clothing, helmets with red lights, a thermos-shaped accessory, a square pack and short baton-like implements. Switching his headlights did not disperse them. When he left his cab with an iron bar, the figures and light disappeared.
The second episode was Jianming's observation, not a second independent close view by both drivers. Salvador Freixedo's earlier English-language overview preserves the central cone-of-light and disappearance story; Richard Dolan's later survey supplies more sequence and equipment details. Neither account describes a resolved spacecraft at the scene. Accordingly, the plate shows two suited figures and an unexplained light cone, with a composite label and no invented saucer or alien facial anatomy.
