Rosario, Arg abduction report — June 16, 1980

Juan Jorge Gómez, a carpenter in Rosario, Argentina, reported two connected experiences in June 1980. On June 16 he was lying in a bedroom listening to the radio when the light and radio went out. A bright light came through the window, followed, he said, by four small figures in yellow suits and helmets. They made an unintelligible buzzing sound and disappeared after a few minutes. Twelve days later, Gómez said he was walking along Boulevard Oroño near an empty lot when an intense overhead light lifted him. His brief subsequent memory was of sitting in a large chair surrounded by similar figures. He next remembered being near a cemetery on the following afternoon, after approximately fifteen hours had passed. He reported a small dark mark on a finger, took buses home and learned that his family had been looking for him. The bedroom encounter preceded the reported taking by twelve days.
