On 22 August 1982, several nine-year-old schoolboys reportedly saw small humanlike figures with unusually large heads in a fruit plantation near their school, about twenty kilometres from Sarikei, Sarawak. Ahmad Jamaludin’s later Flying Saucer Review summary says two boys maintained their account when questioned by their teacher. No craft is specified for that first observation.
A second report dated 24 August concerned an object described as approximately classroom-sized in the same plantation, with more small figures nearby. These are successive claims rather than one simultaneous observation on 22 August. Neither brief account supplies a reliable craft outline, detailed facial anatomy, clothing or exact number of entities. The earlier 16 August fireball report came from a different location and is not proof of a common cause.
Later writers discuss police suspicions that the children had entered the plantation against school rules and used the story as an excuse; that interpretation remains attributed, not an established confession. Some chronologies shift the first episode to 21–22 August. The record preserves Jamaludin’s 22 and 24 August sequence and the dispute. Its plate explicitly combines the two reported days and leaves the unidentified vehicle’s structure unresolved.
Covers the linked August 22 and 24 Sarikei plantation reports in sequence. The first day has figures without a stated craft; the second introduces a UFO and other figures. The programme calls that object small, while the source summary calls it classroom-sized. The separate August 16 fireball is not merged into this case.
