Chapeco, Brz abduction report — December 14, 1983

Antônio Nelso Tasca reported an encounter on the evening of December 14, 1983, while driving from Colônia Cella toward Chapecó, Santa Catarina. He said he felt compelled to leave the highway for a rural road, where he saw a gray, rectangular object with a row of windows close to the ground. Tasca described being taken aboard and interacting with occupants, including a woman who conveyed a message intended for humanity. His account included unusual bodily sensations and what he understood as communication without ordinary speech. He said the occupants conveyed that the experience would remain unforgettable. Afterward he reported an unusual injury or mark on his back. The story was reported in the Santa Catarina press and investigated by Brazilian UFO researchers. Tasca later recounted the experience in an extensive interview recorded by the INFA team on April 20, 1992. That recorded testimony belongs to the later history of the report; it is separate from the night journey itself.
