Mr. and Mrs. L reported watching an unusual formation while camping at Ponderosa Caravan Park near Hexham Bridge, New South Wales, between Christmas and New Year in December 1984. Their exact date was not remembered. At about 2:30 a.m., Mr. L woke his wife and asked her to look outside. She described a large gray cigar-shaped object approaching slowly from the west-southwest, its brilliant forward light illuminating the park. She estimated it as larger than a bus, perhaps 20–25 metres long, but was uncertain of its size.
The apparent windows along its side looked closed and the same gray color as the body. About five minutes later, three smaller discs reportedly approached very quickly, zigzagging into formation. Each was estimated at three or four metres across, with an orange or rust-colored rear area before a tail fin. One took position behind the cigar and two beside it; the side discs then moved behind the first, producing a trailing formation.
Mrs. L thought she glimpsed the outline of a helmeted head in one small disc, but explicitly said she was unsure. That tentative impression should not become a detailed occupant portrait. The group seemed to move toward Williamtown Air Force Base, accompanied by a low humming sound whose pitch fluctuated.
The couple returned inside their tent before the objects disappeared. Her account of falling asleep abruptly does not establish an abduction. Frank Sinclair and Coralee Vickery published the retrospective report in UFO Reporter in June 1992. The plate combines the observed formation with the explicitly uncertain head silhouette.

This multi-case programme includes the December1984 Hexham camping report. It is a narrated retelling, not witness footage; the original witness was unsure about the apparent helmeted figure.
