At about 11 p.m. on May 23, 1986, a truck driver near Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, Brazil, reportedly noticed a UFO beside the road. The Larry Hatch catalogue then records a flash, followed by an interval described as seventy-two hours of missing time. Those short statements are the surviving sequence in the imported account. They do not establish how the driver first approached the object, where he was when awareness returned, or how the duration was calculated. The entry also says that hypnotic regression was pending, rather than documenting a completed regression or an onboard recollection. The compilation cites the MUFON UFO Journal, reference 232. This expanded account preserves the roadside observation, flash, and claimed interruption in memory without supplying an invented examination or return journey.
