Case description
Francis Ridge’s Regional Encounters records a case investigated by Kerry Teverbaugh in which two men riding motorcycles followed a pyramid-shaped aerial object near Terre Haute. The short account gives July 31 at 11:30 p.m. After following the object, they lost sight of it. They also noticed people associated with a car ahead of them behaving in a way they considered unusual.
The men later returned to the area where those people had been seen. According to Ridge’s summary, the car occupants were then found walking about a mile from the earlier location. The account particularly mentions something strange about their eyes, but supplies no precise anatomical description, reliable count of the people, or documented exchange. It does not show that the people had come from the aerial object.
The year varies between catalogues: the imported record gives 1986, while a later chronological compilation places the matching report in 1987. Ridge says the investigation was upgraded to a CE4 classification, but this abbreviated passage does not describe boarding, transport, an examination, or another specific abduction sequence. Those missing events should not be supplied from the classification alone. The plate combines the reported pursuit and roadside observations and marks the people’s connection with the object as unconfirmed.
