Soro, Dk being encounter — August 12, 1987

A compact Danish account assigns a red aerial light to Sorø on 12 August 1987, around 8 a.m. It was reportedly seen circling over a lake before hovering above a local school. The accessible rendering does not identify the school, observers, duration, size, sound or any discernible mechanical structure. Calling it a sphere or orb describes its appearance rather than a recovered vehicle design. Separate witnesses in the area were also said to have encountered an unusual boy or childlike figure. The account provides no usable physical description, speech, clothing or observed journey between the figure and the aerial light. It does not establish that the same people saw both phenomena. Their association is therefore a catalogue grouping, rather than a demonstrated occupant-and-craft encounter. Albert Rosales later included the episode in a review of Danish boylike-figure reports, attributing this entry to SUFOI. That article also discusses other dates at Pedersborg, Ringsted and nearby cemeteries. Details from those separate reports—including particular clothes, disappearance effects and red rings—should not be inserted into the Sorø entry. The surviving 12 August narrative remains brief, with the original SUFOI case material still needed to assess how the two reported strands were connected.
