Case description
A motorist near Fort Collins reportedly saw an unusual object during heavy snowfall in October 1987. The imported account places the event around 3:20 a.m. It describes a roadside object estimated at twenty feet across, flashing lights, and a subsequent pursuit of the car for approximately one mile. A possible figure was also mentioned.
The surviving source is exceptionally compact. Hatch attributes it to the private files of psychologist and investigator R. Leo Sprinkle, without a public interview, named witness or exact October date. It does not say where the possible figure stood, whether it moved, or what features suggested a person. Nor does it provide a sufficiently detailed outline to reconstruct a particular model of saucer.
A vehicle-effects classification accompanies the entry, but the preserved wording supplies no specific engine, electrical or instrument failure. Such a symptom should not be invented. Other Fort Collins contact stories involving Sprinkle concern different witnesses and events and cannot fill these gaps. The plate consequently shows an anonymous driver, a low unresolved object in falling snow and an uncertain upright shadow. The source's word possible remains central: this is not a documented anatomical description of an alien.
