Case description
On January 4, 1988, witnesses near Vetterslev church in the Ringsted area of Denmark reportedly observed two red luminous spheres moving low above a field. The Atlas lists three observers and a start time of 18:50; Albert Rosales's later summary gives 18:45. Both describe the objects as only about 35 centimetres across, rather than large spacecraft.
The lights reportedly maneuvered for around two hours. Melted snow and small footprints were said to have been found in the field afterward. The located summary does not provide photographs, footprint measurements, an account of who made the tracks, or a controlled examination of the snow. A temporal association with the lights does not by itself establish what produced those features.
Rosales cites Scandinavian UFO Information Newsletter 11. His article places the case alongside earlier Danish reports of a mysterious boy-like figure, but explicitly says no such boy was seen in this January 4 incident. The Atlas's humanlike classification should therefore not be read as a direct occupant observation. The reconstruction includes the two small red spheres and representative winter-clothed observers; the trace details are aftermath context. It adds neither a boy nor an alien body to a report that supplies no visible occupant.
