Case description
A late-night report from Rybnik on July 23, 1990 began when a resident noticed that a dog had broken its chain. The witness then saw a white beam accompanied by a smaller red light moving as though it were searching the area. The imported catalogue gives approximately 11 p.m.; a fuller summary gives 11:30 p.m.
The witness signalled with a flashlight and believed the moving light responded by illuminating the roadway. Frightened, the observer hid near a lighting pole. After the beam reached a leg, the witness ran toward an empty house and subsequently returned to the road. There, a low cigar-shaped object was reportedly visible, with a ladder and a red light.
A single humanoid figure appeared on the ladder. Its features could not be made out clearly because a nearby streetlight interfered with the view. The figure went inside, the ladder withdrew, the red light went out, and the object departed. The surviving summary attributes the account to Bronislaw Rzepecki and the Australian UFO Bulletin. It supplies neither an identifiable occupant description nor a claimed taking aboard; the apparent response to the flashlight remains the witness’s interpretation.
