Case description
Bus driver Imre Herceg is the named witness in a later Hungarian account of an encounter on 24 July 1990. After the last Győr–Vének service, he was returning from Vének toward Kisbajcs when he noticed two bright, blinking points ahead. Initially he thought they were an animal's eyes. His headlights then allegedly revealed a figure standing in the road with its legs apart. The retrospective account places this around 23:30; the Hatch ledger instead records 20:00.
Herceg described a steel gray figure about 1.2 metres tall, with a thin body, very long limbs and an exceptionally large, pear-shaped head. Its eyes were oval, its mouth narrow, and he could distinguish neither nose nor ears. He could not decide whether the gray appearance belonged to its body or clothing. According to the account, the bus slowed and stopped without his intervention, only two or three metres from the stationary figure. Light from its eyes reportedly illuminated the bus interior.
After roughly two minutes, his recollection broke off. His next reported memory was being home and getting out of the bus, with its doors open. He subsequently attributed several days of eye discomfort to the light. This is a memory-gap claim rather than an independently established abduction, and the retrieved account supplies no examination or instrument record. No craft was reported. A nearby paragraph about another Hungarian encounter concerns a different witness and date and should not supply extra beings or a vehicle for this case.
