Dolorindo Asencio and his brother Sebastián reportedly encountered a large aerial object while rowing on Lake Llanquihue in 1990. The imported record dates it October 20; a fuller compilation citing Jane Guma, Alejandro Agostinelli and Richard Heiden in Flying Saucer Review gives October 21. The precise day should therefore remain qualified. The brothers described an immense object approaching rapidly with a very loud noise and radiant colours around its structure. It hovered above their boat, and they felt intense warmth. They rowed towards the shore and hid in vegetation. No occupants were reported aboard the object, and the heat sensation does not establish a measured beam or a particular mechanism. The threatening people belong to a later episode. The summary says a man and two women visited Asencio at home, warned him against speaking and offered money for silence. They were described as tall, blond and foreign in appearance or accent. They were not witnessed emerging from the craft. Spanish regional retellings additionally discuss a November 19 sighting and a subsequent religious group’s visit. Those details should not be silently merged into the October boat encounter. The plate confines itself to the brothers and aerial object, leaving the later visitors’ claimed connection unproven.
