Case description
The Atlas dates this Beit She’an report to November 6, 1991, beginning around 3:30 a.m. Its compressed Hatch entry combines police and numerous other observers, a glowing ovoid object, a giant figure and a pursuit toward Jordan. Fuller retellings do not agree on whether the central phenomenon was an aerial object or an enormous being.
NICAP’s chronology, citing Timothy Good’s Alien Update, describes a shiny crescent-shaped object pursued eastward by a taxi and police. It reportedly hovered, maneuvered and turned about itself at an estimated altitude of six hundred meters before disappearing around dawn, about 6:00 a.m. That summary does not describe a giant or a landing. A separate humanoid catalogue instead places a giant at police chief Yitzchak Mordechai’s home and claims a six-hour pursuit by three hundred soldiers in nineteen jeeps, ending at the Jordanian border fence. The same catalogue acknowledges a triangular-craft alternative.
These versions should be read alongside one another rather than assembled into a single verified sequence. No accessible contemporary police log, military record or named independent interview was located to resolve the differences in shape, duration and subject. The plate explicitly labels its juxtaposition of a luminous object and indistinct tall figure as a contextual composite. It does not establish that either was observed at the same moment.
